BNPN Attorney Co-Authors Article on Tort Liability for Animal Attacks

In September of 2014, Eric Waldman, an associate attorney with Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton & Noe, LLP, co-authored an article in the Illinois Bar Journal. The article outlines what is necessary to hold animal owners liable for injuries caused by their animals under Illinois common law, the Illinois Animal Control Act, and the Illinois Domestic Animals Running at Large Act. The article details both the elements needed to bring a cause of action against an animal owner and the defenses available to owners when defending a tort claim based on an animal attack.
