Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton & Noe, LLP is extremely pleased to announce the addition of two new Associate Attorneys, Jason Gende (right) and Dauttatreyo Bandyopadhyay (left)!

Jason Gende, a native of the Quad Cities, graduated from Alleman High School in Rock Island in 2016. He went on to study Philosophy and Japanese at Augustana College, where he was a founding member of the volunteer organization CARE, and a member of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity. During the summer of 2019, he studied abroad at Kobe City University of Foreign Studies in Japan. Jason graduated from Augustana College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a minor in Japanese.

Subsequently, Jason attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2023. During law school, he was a member of Loyola's Civitas Child Law Clinic from 2022-2023, where he acted as a child representative in domestic relations and child protection cases. In 2023, he was recognized by Loyola for his public interest legal work.

Jason is proud to return to the Quad Cities to practice law. He will work in a wide variety of practice areas at BNPN. He is currently focused on gaining experience and honing skills to become a great attorney.

Dauttatreyo (Wrishi) Bandyopadhyay graduated from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in 2016. He went on to study at the University of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign, where he spent a considerable amount of time volunteering at Carle Hospital. Wrishi was a member of the Dean’s List during his undergraduate where he conducted research on heterochromatin structure.

After graduating in 2020 with his Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Wrishi joined the University of Illinois College of Law. He focused his time in law school on intellectual property and corporate law and was also a member of the Dean’s List. During law school, he practiced under the University of Illinois College of Law Patent Clinic where he aided a startup company by drafting a patent application for its biomedical device. In 2023, Wrishi obtained his Juris Doctorate cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law and subsequently began working at BNPN. His passion for the intersection between science, technology, and the law was recognized by the American Bar Association as evidenced by its decision to appoint him Chair of the Science and Technology Law Committee for their Young Lawyers Division.

Wrishi is extremely excited to begin serving the Quad Cities community and wants to focus his area of practice on intellectual property issues, corporate transactional work, complex commercial litigation, product liability, and medical malpractice matters.

Both Jason and Wrishi passed the Illinois Bar in July and were sworn in as attorneys on November 9th, 2023. Please join us in congratulating both of them for their incredible achievements and giving them a hearty welcome to the Quad Cities and our firm!
